Bacari has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Silver Lake with its outstanding atmosphere, phenomenal staff and delicious food (and drinks!). William, the host, always starts things off with great hospitality, remembering our favorite seating areas so we can take in as much of the ambiance as possible. On our last visit, our server, TJ, was incredibly knowledgeable of every dish and gave great recommendations. He also was highly attentive and consistently made sure we had everything we needed during our time there. On previous visits, LJ and Camila also went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional time, introducing us to new drinks and being beyond awesome about any small modifications we may have required. The food is also amazing (their salatim consists of the softest, most pillowy pitas you'll ever have with the best hummus there is) and they have one of the most phenomenal bar programs in all of LA. If you like mezcal and white truffle, I couldn't recommend The Confidant more but, really, I don't think you can go wrong with any choice you make. In short: Bacari is the bomb.

Most of the food here was delicious. The misses were the pork belly which was swimming in sauce and the sauce was a bit overpowering. The grilled pita was stuffed with a flavorless beef patty and had a terrible yellow strong dipping sauce that was just awful. Idk if it was just overpowering tumeric or what was in it but we hated it. The bread pudding was kinda bitter and almost tasted like underbaked bread. It wasn't sweet at all. At least it had ice cream which helped. The rose custard was a little too sweet and too potent. I love rose but wish it was toned down to a lighter flavor in a panna cotta texture with less sugar and perhaps a complimentary flavor for balance- like having crushed pistachios on top would've been nice. The excellent dishes: the lamb pita was SO good, super flavorful and had a nice green "hummus" dip below it. Loved that it came with veggies which added lightness to a heavy dip. The stuffed mushrooms were also a highlight. Nice, rich complex flavors. The beet gnocchi was our favorite. The sauce was everything- savory, tangy with parsley. Definitely get this dish. Wish there was more of it. It seemed that dishes here were either amazing with rich complementary flavors or pretty bad. It makes it hard to give it 5 stars but the good dishes deserve it and it's also hard to decide whether to visit a place with 4 stars. Definitely recommend trying this place and sitting outside in the "tree house" area, esp in the evening after the sun has set.

Where do i begin for this amazing place? Everything here is great, the place is beautiful and it's such a great feel. Was visiting the area and a friend brought me here and literally was one of my favorite places. The food was flavorful and the service was good too. A must try!

Had heard rave reviews from friends about this place. Definitely met expectations. Loved the vibe. Waitress was friendly and helpful. It's tapas style so she recommended to start with 2 plates per person. My favorite was the lamb hummus and the GF bread was amazing. Drinks were also great! Will definitely recommend and come back when I'm in the area again.

Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! The staff was so kind and made my graduation celebrations extra special. Special thank you to Ruby our server and to Nikki and Flower who were also cool. We will be back for sure!

I've been to Bacari a few times now and it never disappoints. The ambiance is one of my favorites in LA. We were happy to hear that it was happy hour which meant it was $2 off every dish. Unfortunately, we were charged an additional $4 per dish (wasn't mentioned to us) due to needing gluten free bread because of our allergies. It was absolutely delicious though and they even made special gluten free pita chips for us that came with the shrimp ceviche which they baked & cut from their gluten free pizza dough. We were blown away that they did that for us. The ceviche was so good and we also ordered the salatim and I'm not even kidding, we were already trying to plan when we'd return, it was THAT GOOD.

We visited this place for a graduation celebration on a Friday night. The place was packed but the sat us fairly promptly at our reservation time. We were sat outside under heat lamps and the place looked very hip and romantic. The food is mezze so the plates are small and you are recommended to order 2-3 dishes per person and eat family style. Ie share. I ordered a spicy margarita which was delish but there was just way too much ice and I finished the drink in two gulps. The food is very tasty. Brussel sprouts 10, corn 10, octopus pizza 7, wild mushroom pizza 10, chicken sliders 7, pork belly 5, gnocchi 5, feta and honey filo 6. Everyone enjoyed the place and will likely visit again next time we are in LA.

I have eaten here at least thirty times by now. It's truly one of my favorite spots, if not my all time favorite. The ambiance, the staff, the food, everything about this place is 10/10. I've been so many times that I've seen perfect nights and not so perfect nights. Even on the not so perfect nights the staff is super friendly and attentive and do their best to make your visit a great one. You won't regret dining at Bacari specifically the silver lake location.

We brunched at Bacari to celebrate my sister's birthday and our daughter's acceptance to Vanderbilt University. We had reservations and waited just a few minutes before being seated in the beautiful outdoor space under the large tree. Our server was Ruby, who did an amazing job taking care of us. She explained the small plates Mediterranean style menu and recommended 2-3 plates per person. Our food was nicely paced out. Everything was fresh and delicious. We all agreed that the Lamb Hummus and Feta Filo were the standout dishes. The bread that came with the hummus and smoked salmon was addicting. My sister sampled several drinks and found them all exceptionally good. Service was excellent -- never rushed. It was a nice sunny day, perfectly cool under the shade of the trees. It was a great experience that we look forward to having again. Parking is tough in the area, especially with the Farmer's Market going on across the street. We chose to valet ($10 during brunch), but my sister was lucky (and patient enough) to find street parking a couple blocks away.
